Arsenal and Liverpool join the bidding for Coentrao

Arsenal and Liverpool have joined the race to take Fabio Coentrao to the Premier League.

Reports in the British media also mention Manchester United as possible suitors for the Real Madrid left-back.

British newspaper The Daily Express broke the story revealing both Arsenal and Liverpool are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old who has barely featured in Carlo Ancelotti's plans so far this season. Marcelo's injury in the Club World Cup final, however, may have come at just the wrong time for the English clubs vying for his signature.
