Bury 2 : 2 York City - Shakers' winless streak goes on

David Flitcroft's Bury made it eight games without a win after lowly York fought back to claim a 2-2 draw at the JD Stadium.

The Shakers led 2-0 with 28 minutes to go after two goals in five minutes through Andrew Tutte and Daniel Nardiello. But Jake Hyde pulled one back just four minutes later before Luke Summerfield secured a point with a 78th-minute free-kick.

Bury's Ryan Lowe had an early header saved while Wes Fletcher and Hyde went close for York in the first period.

Femi Ilesanmi then had to clear a Danny Mayor cross from under his own bar while Fletcher fired over just before the break.

The game livened up in the second half, with Mayor and Craig Jones testing York keeper Alex Cisak before Tutte's 20-yard strike deflected off Stephane Zubar and into the top corner.

Nicky Adams then won a free-kick deep down Bury's right which Chris Hussey whipped towards the near post, where an unmarked Nardiello headed past Cisak.

York replied with Michael Coulson crossing for Hyde to head home at the far post.

Russell Penn and Keith Lowe almost equalised before Summerfield fired a 20-yard free-kick into the top corner.

But Bury almost won it at the death as Danny Rose fired just wide.
