AFC Wimbledon vs Mansfield Town preview - Bulman boost for Dons

Dannie Bulman has been passed fit for AFC Wimbledon's home clash with Mansfield.

The veteran midfielder was taken off as a precaution with a glute injury against York last Saturday but he has trained all week.

Defenders Jack Smith (hamstring) and Andy Frampton (ankle) are therefore the only injury absentees, meaning boss Neal Ardley could name the same side which ran out 3-2 winners at Bootham Crescent.

Winger George Francomb keeps his place after setting up all three of the Dons' goals.

Winger Junior Brown and full-back Keiron Freeman come back into the reckoning for Mansfield, having been ineligible for the FA Cup under the terms of their loan deals.

Stags boss Adam Murray must decide if captain Martin Riley is fit enough to return to the starting line-up. The defender missed the league draw with Cheltenham because of a hamstring injury and was then an unused substitute in midweek as Mansfield lost their cup replay at home to Cambridge.

Murray also has the likes of Fergus Bell, Matt Rhead, Jamie McGuire and Reggie Lambe available to call on should he wish to make any changes to his team.

Defender John Dempster is nearing a return from injury but striker Alex Fisher is not expected back from his collarbone injury until next month.
