PARIS-SAINT GERMAIN are plotting a hugely ambitious move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
The Blues signed the Spanish star for £32m from Atletico Madrid in the summer and he has hit the ground running in the Premier League with 12 goals this season.
His red-hot form could see Chelsea's European rivals try to prise him from their grasp.
Ligue 1 champions PSG are looking at long-term replacements for veteran Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic and sensational reports in France suggest Costa is high on their wanted list.
IBRAHIMOVIC REPLACEMENT? PSG are reportedly eyeing Chelsea striker Diego Costa
Ibrahimovic has 18 months left on his current deal with the French capital club, who are willing to spend big to strengthen their attack.
However, Chelsea are under no pressure to sell their prize asset and Costa's potential move to Paris is highly unlikely to be sanctioned.
Edinson Cavani is not seen as a future replacement for Ibrahimovic, with the Uruguayan striker drawing interest from the Premier League.
