Sevilla - Eibar preview - Garitano wary of Sevilla strength

Eibar boss Gaizka Garitano believes Sevilla are worthy of their top-four place in the Primera Division.

Garitano takes his side to Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan on Sunday looking to end the home team's four-game winning streak across three competitions.

Eibar go into the fixture in good spirits too, having recorded a 5-2 victory over Almeria last week to take them ninth, but Garitano is under no illusion about the size of the task ahead of his charges.

"After Madrid (Real and Atletico) and Barcelona, Sevilla is the best," he said.

"It is a game of top difficulty. They have many international players. We know what we have to do because they have a lot of quality, so we have to play our best game to win."

The five-goal victory over Almeria made it two league wins in a row for Eibar for the first time this season.

But Garitano wants that to be the start of something better not an end in itself.

"Our concern is that we have not satisfied the hunger for two straight wins....we must be hungrier than ever," he said.

"We struck against Almeria early on, but I am not sure it was our best match - we conceded two goals so there are things to improve."

Sevilla booked their place in the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday courtesy of a 1-0 win over Rijeka.

But with an extended break ahead for that competition, coach Unai Emery is focused firmly on league duties.

"We are pleased and excited about the Europa League this season, (but) the Europa League is parked until February," he said.

"Sunday's job is to consolidate in the league. It will be a difficult game after the effort we gave (in midweek), but it is important to finish the year happy."
