Hibernian FC vs Alloa Athletic preview - Double boost for Hibs

Hibernian expect Dominique Malonga and Liam Craig to return against Alloa.

And head coach Alan Stubbs is confident they can bounce back from the late defeat against Falkirk.

Stubbs said: "The reaction from the squad has been really good.

"I wanted to see disappointment on the players' faces after Saturday because it shows that they care. I think it's important to see at times.

"But on Monday morning we spoke about the game and then we moved on.

"I don't want them to dwell on it and I don't want there to be a hangover."

Alloa manager Barry Smith will add Jason Marr, Graeme Holmes and Kevin Cawley to his squad. However, the trio are not fully fit and are likely to start on the bench.

Smith, who was linked with the vacant manager's job at St Mirren this week, is without the injured Jonathan Tiffoney (calf), Iain Flannigan (back) and David Weatherston (hamstring).

Smith said: "We are still a bit short of bodies however we are looking forward to facing Hibs at Easter Road. We have had two good games against each other this season and have both won one so I am sure that it will be very competitive."
