Getafe vs Barcelona preview - Iniesta banking on strength of trio

Andres Iniesta insists having Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in the team means Barcelona can never be written off, regardless of how well their rivals are going.

Barca travel to Getafe on Saturday looking to keep the heat on La Liga leaders Real Madrid, who are on a 19-match winning run in all competitions.

Carlo Ancelotti's side head to Almeria on Friday looking to continue a run of form which saw them last drop a point back in mid September.

The European champions have scored 51 goals in their opening 14 league games and do not look like slowing down, but Iniesta believes Barca have the firepower to match.

Their attacking trio were all on target as Barca won 3-1 against Paris St Germain in midweek to top their Champions League group.

"I don't know what stage the side is at, but, if we want to fight for every title, we have to continue to grow as a team," Iniesta said. "We are on a good run of results and we are improving our performances.

"That's what we work for in training and that's why we keep working to prepare for the next challenge.

"Messi, Suarez and Neymar are a guarantee for us - let's hope they can keep up this level of performance, because if they do, we will definitely go a long way."

They may be some way off Madrid's streak, but Barca too are flying, having won eight games in a row in all competitions.

They suffered no injury setbacks in the win over PSG and will go to Getafe full of confidence.

The hosts in contrast are without a win in four league games, a run which has left them just five points above the bottom three.

Midfielder Pablo Sarabia knows his side must be on top of their game defensively if they are to deny Barca another three points.

He said on the club's official website: "It's a game that requires a lot of tactical discipline, the coach is seeing to it.

"We must be very clear that we must stop their attacks, then try to impose our attacking game and get results."
