Preston North End vs Milton Keynes Dons preview - A Little good news for Preston

Posted Friday, December 12, 2014 by PA

Winger Andy Little is expected to be in Preston's matchday squad against MK Dons.

The ex-Rangers man has not played since mid-September because of a calf problem but has slowly been upping his rehabilitation and looks ready for a recall.

Defenders Bailey Wright (groin) and Calum Woods (hamstring) have both had a full week of training too and could be back in the first-team picture soon.

Joe Garner and fellow striker Jordan Hugill (both knee) remain long-term absentees.

MK Dons have Danny Green available following suspension.

Green served a one-match ban for the FA Cup defeat at home to Chesterfield last weekend but the winger's return gives Dons boss Karl Robinson a full squad to choose from, with the exception of Tom Flanagan.

Flanagan has suffered a cut above an eye in training and the 22-year-old defender will not be involved on Saturday.

With Robinson yet to pick the same team in consecutive games this season, changes could be on the cards and, along with Green, Lee Hodson, George Baldock, Giorgio Rasulo, Ben Reeves and Samir Carruthers will be hoping for recalls.
