Augsburg vs Bayern Munich preview - Weinzierl hoping for Bayern upset

Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl does not want his side's rise up the Bundesliga to end this weekend just because they are facing Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians have surged up the standings since losing their first two games of the season and are now in a position to make this a top-of-the-table clash.
Were the season to end today, Augsburg would be joining Bayern in the group stages of the Champions League next season and Weinzierl wants his team to prove that they would be worthy of their place there.
"We've got to play the way we've always played - with heart, passion and determination," he said at a pre-match press conference.
"We're going into the game with a lot of self-confidence, even if we are rank outsiders.
"We're definitely going to give it all we can to cause a major upset."
Augsburg did just that in April when they ended Bayern's 53-game unbeaten run with a 1-0 win at the Augsburg Arena.
They have since turned their own home into a fortress, not losing since Borussia Dortmund triumphed there in September.
"We want to extend our good run at home," said forward Halil Altintop. "It doesn't matter who our opponents are.
"If we are courageous enough, then we will have our chances."
One of their chances could be in a possible tiredness accumulated from a busy schedule which saw Bayern complete their Champions League group stage with a 3-0 win over CSKA Moscow in midweek.
However, coach Pep Guardiola rotated his side a lot for that game, keeping his regular starters fresh for Saturday.
He also has Claudio Pizarro available after injury with the Peruvian now hoping to lend a hand to Bayern's cause.
"I'm feeling good and it's up to the coach if I play," Pizarro said on Bayern's website. "It's great to be back."
