Doncaster Rovers vs Gillingham preview - Dickov to ring changes

Doncaster boss Paul Dickov will make changes against Gillingham.

After swapping five players for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie with Notts County, Dickov's line up on Saturday is expected to closely resemble the team that won at Oldham in the FA Cup last weekend.

Defenders Reece Wabara and Enda Stevens, who has extended his loan from Aston Villa until January, were rested as Rovers lost 1-0 to the Magpies, while midfielders Richie Wellens and James Coppinger were also taken out of the firing line on Tuesday night and started on the bench. All four players have been carrying niggles recently.

Dickov will hope to be able to recall that quartet while Paul Keegan, the fifth change in midweek as local teenager Billy Whitehouse was given a run out, should return in midfield.

Gillingham will check on Danny Kedwell, who has started just one of their last five matches.

The striker last week had an injection in a bid to speed up his recovery from a knee injury but still missed Saturday's JPT win over Leyton Orient.

Boss Peter Taylor on Thursday signed free-agent winger Danny Galbraith on a deal until the end of the season and is considering adding him to the bench.

Defender Aaron Morris is set to miss out again with a hamstring injury.
