Bristol City vs Crawley Town preview - Cotterill could rotate against Reds
Posted Friday, December 12, 2014 by PA
Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill will assess his squad ahead of the visit of Crawley.
The Robins will be short on recovery time after their Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Coventry on Wednesday night and Cotterill admits it is a tiring time and may look to freshen up his side.
Chelsea loanee Todd Kane's shoulder injury looks set to keep him sidelined but the Robins boss has plenty of options if he decides to rotate with Kieran Agard having been rested in midweek and the likes of Marlon Pack and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas itching to start.
City have won their last three games, all in separate competitions, without conceding a goal.
Crawley have been hit by suspension and injuries ahead of the trip.
Top scorer Izale McLeod starts a three-match ban after he was red-carded against Chesterfield a fortnight ago, so on-loan Coventry striker Shaun Miller is set to make his full debut.
Winger Gwion Edwards and full-back Ryan Dickson are also sidelined after undergoing hernia operations this week.
Keith Keane plays the final game of his loan spell from Preston while fellow midfielder Marvin Elliott is pushing for a recall against his former club.
