Wycombe Wanderers - AFC Wimbledon preview - Chairboys hopeful on loan duo

Wycombe hope to have two of their loan signings available to face AFC Wimbledon.

Brentford loanee Alfie Mawson and Rotherham's Danny Rowe were not given the green light to feature in the first round of the FA Cup by their parent clubs but boss Gareth Ainsworth will ask the Championship sides for permission.

Millwall's Fred Onyedinma will definitely not be able to feature along with Paris Cowan-Hall, who will serve a one-game suspension after his fifth yellow card of the season last Saturday.

The League Two leaders have failed to win three of their last four home games heading into this cup clash with their fourth-tier rivals.

The Dons will be without defender Jack Smith through injury.

The former Millwall left-back limped out of last weekend's defeat by Cambridge with a hamstring problem so Callum Kennedy is set to deputise.

Centre-half Andy Frampton remains sidelined by the ankle injury he suffered in the previous round against York and which could yet require surgery.

Midfielder Harry Pell could be in contention after his loan spell at Grimsby came to an end last weekend.
