Gateshead vs Warrington Town AFC preview - Robinson returns for Warrington

Warrington will have Craig Robinson back from suspension as they bid to become the lowest-ranked team to reach the third round of the FA Cup when they travel to Gateshead.

The centre-half, who was the goal hero in the 1-0 first-round defeat of Exeter, was sent off for dissent in last month's 3-0 Evo-Stik Northern Premier League loss at Kendal but can return on Sunday.

Town have also added prolific former Bury striker Lee Gaskell to their ranks since that triumph and he opened his account for the club in Saturday's win over Ossett Albion.

Fellow new recruit Steven Tames is cup-tied, though, while Ben Wharton misses out through suspension.

Valentin Gjokaj could make just his second start for Gateshead in the televised clash as they bid to reach the third round for the first time since 1955.

The Albania Under-21 international was sent off on his debut at Torquay last month but returned from suspension to replace the injured James Curtis after 55 minutes of Tuesday's Conference win at Alfreton.

The Heed were again without JJ O'Donnell (foot), Carl Finnigan (knee) and Alex Baird (ankle) for that midweek victory.

South African Matty Pattison looks set to continue playing in a wider role after he netted both goals as Gateshead ended a four-match winless run.
