Forfar maintained their fine run of form in Scottish League One with a solid 2-0 away win over Stenhousemuir at Ochilview Park.

The visitors edged ahead with their first real attack after 11 minutes when Michael Dunlop headed down into the bottom-left corner of the net from a Scott Smith cross.

Jamie Reid forced Rab Douglas to make a save as the hosts pushed for an equaliser and Colin McMenamin was also denied by the keeper with a close-range header following the interval.

Forfar then doubled their advantage after 71 minutes when Stephen Husband whipped in a free-kick which found the bottom corner and the Loons have now lost just once in 12 league games.
