Falkirk 1 - 0 Hibernian FC - McCracken filip for Falkirk

David McCracken smashed home a last-minute winner as Falkirk secured a third straight win in all competitions with a 1-0 home victory against Hibernian.
Falkirk defender McCracken thundered home a low shot from the edge of the penalty area when it seemed the points were to be shared for only his third goal for the club.
Hibs striker Paul Heffernan's early shot was blocked and Falkirk midfielder Rory Loy fired into the side-netting soon after to set the trend in a see-saw encounter.
Heffernan headed just off target just before the half-hour mark and Falkirk pair Will Vaulks and Peter Grant both went close before visiting midfielder Sam Stanton's long-range effort flew inches wide at the end of a goalless first half.
Vaulks had one effort blocked by Hibs goalkeeper Mark Oxley early in the second period and pulled another effort wide, while Loy lifted his shot over the crossbar soon after.
Hibs' appeals for a penalty were waved away by referee Stephen Finnie in the 72nd minute when Allan went tumbling in the box before the visitors were undone by McCracken's thunderbolt as the clock ticked down.
