Falkirk vs Hibernian FC preview - McCracken back for Falkirk

Falkirk will have David McCracken back in their side when they host Hibs after the defender served his one-game suspension in last Saturday's 1-0 Scottish Cup win over Cowdenbeath.

Former Easter Road midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones is absent due to knee surgery with fit again defender Liam Dick added to the Bairns squad.

Technical Director Alex Smith said: "This should be a really good game between two sides who like to play football with an attacking edge. We went to their place and secured a 1-0 win in a game where we defended really well.

"Winning this game would be a great boost as we look to climb the table."

Hibernian skipper Liam Craig is a major doubt for the trip.

The midfielder pulled up last weekend against Alloa with a thigh strain but will be given right up until the last minute to see if he can shake of the injury.

Farid el Alagui, Jordon Forster and Dylan McGeouch, meanwhile, are all out following operations, while Dominique Malonga is suspended after he was sent-off against the Wasps.

Stubbs said: "Liam came off last week with what we thought was a slight hamstring injury.

"It has settled down quite well but we just need to monitor it. It will probably come down to a decision just before kick-off to see whether Liam makes it or not."
