Raith boss Grant Murray will give Liam Fox as long as possible to prove his fitness ahead of the clash with his former club Livingston.

His rib problem will be checked on before kick off while goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert remains out with a shoulder problem.

"After going to the bottom of the league the Livingston players will be out to show a lot of character and get the points need to start their climb to safety," Murray explained. "This will make this game extremely difficult for us but it is a game that we can win.

"We are at home and we want to attack Livingston as getting the first goal could be crucial."

The rock-bottom Lions will miss Jason Talbot with a groin injury, Burton O'Brien after surgery on a broken thumb and Brad Donaldson who has a long-term ankle problem.

John McGlynn's side take the field for the first time since having a five-point penalty imposed for irregular payments to players.

The West Lothian boss said: "Survival is our aim now and we have 22 games to get to eighth place starting at Raith Rovers.

"We still have some key players out injured but the ones that come in have a great chance to grab a jersey for what will be a crucial few months."
