Huddersfield Town vs Brentford preview - Lynch worry for Terriers

Huddersfield defender Joel Lynch is rated 50/50 for the home game against Brentford.

Lynch was forced out of the action at half-time during last week's defeat at Bolton due to a groin injury and could face a late fitness test. Murray Wallace, Lee Peltier and Anthony Gerrard are all in contention if he fails to make it.

Manager Chris Powell is hoping winger Sean Scannell can overcome a thigh problem that has been troubling him this week, but Harry Bunn is not expected to shake off a similar complaint that has kept him last Saturday.

Huddersfield are chasing their first win in five league matches.

Brentford could be unchanged after romping to a fifth straight win last weekend.

The in-form Bees are still without right-back Alan McCormack, who is out for three months with an ankle injury, and striker Scott Hogan as he recovers from cruciate ligament damage.

Marcos Tebar, who was not involved against Wolves on Saturday, is a doubt through illness so boss Mark Warburton is poised to name the same squad which ran out 4-0 winners.

Tebar's fellow Spaniard Jota is giving Warburton plenty to think about, though, having climbed off the bench to score in the last two matches.
