Cambridge United vs Mansfield Town preview - Cambridge duo cup-tied

Jordan Chiedoze is cup-tied for Cambridge after playing against opponents Mansfield for Concord Rangers in the FA Cup first round.

Adam Cunnington is also cup-tied having already played in the competition for Bristol Rovers while on loan.

Harrison Dunk (hernia) is out but Ryan Donaldson and Tom Elliott (both knee) could feature, with the club assessing their injuries.

Captain Ian Miller is back in training after rupturing his Achilles last season but is still some way off a first-team return.

On-loan duo Junior Brown and Vadaine Oliver will not be in the Mansfield squad.

Oxford winger Brown and Crewe striker Oliver are ineligible for the competition under the terms of their agreements. However, the Stags have asked Nottingham Forest and Derby if they might be willing to allow fellow loanees Dimitar Evtomov and Keiron Freeman to become cup-tied.

Ollie Palmer, Rakish Bingham and Matt Rhead all scored as the reserves drew 4-4 with Rotherham this week and the trio will all pushing to replace Oliver.

Defenders Ritchie Sutton (broken jaw), John Dempster and Luke Jones (Achilles), as well as midfielder Jamie McGuire (knee), remain out. It is hoped Dempster and McGuire will be back in first-team contention in the next couple of weeks.
