Andre-Pierre Gignac wants to leave Marseille when his contract runs out - and is keen on a move to Inter Milan.

The France international has scored 11 goals this season, level with Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette, helping Marseille top the table ahead of Paris Saint-Germain.

But with his contract nearing an end Gignac, who turns 29 on Friday, has one eye on the exit.

"I think I will leave at the end of the season," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I want to know if (coach Marcelo) Bielsa will stay, but I want a big challenge. I will consider all proposals carefully."

Gignac, an 18million euro (around 14.7million at the time) signing from Toulouse in 2010, hinted that Inter would be his preferred destination.

"Inter are an institution and (Roberto) Mancini is a great coach," he said. "I would be great. I live for football and watch all the major leagues. I admire the tactical culture of Italy. And I have also played against Sampdoria at the Marassi - the fans made a big impression on me."
