Brighton & Hove Albion vs Fulham preview - Brighton bow for Bent

Darren Bent will make his Brighton debut against familiar opposition when Fulham visit The Amex.

The former England striker, who spent last season on loan with the Cottagers, has joined Brighton on an initial month-long deal from Aston Villa.

Goalkeeper David Stockdale and defender Aaron Hughes will also be facing their former club.

Lewis Dunk returns from suspension and Solly March is close to fitness after a back problem but Andrew Crofts (cruciate) and Dale Stephens (ankle) are still missing.

Fulham have problems in defence due to injury and suspension.

Dan Burn serves a one-match ban after he was booked for the fifth time this season in Friday night's 2-1 defeat at derby rivals Brentford.

Sean Kavanagh would be the obvious choice to step in but he has a thigh problem and with Tim Hoogland (pelvis) and Fernando Amorebieta (knee) also injured, boss Kit Symons has recalled young defender Jack Grimmer from his loan spell at Shrewsbury.

Striker Adam Taggart is still recovering from a groin injury but Symons has drafted in rookie Manchester City midfielder Seko Fofana on loan.
