Morton stretched their winning run to four games to remain at the summit of Scottish League Two with a 3-1 victory over Stenhousemuir.

Lee Kilday's first-half brace and a Stefan McCluskey goal ensured the home side claimed yet another three points despite losing goalkeeper Derek Gaston through injury.

After some early pressure, Morton took the lead after quarter of an hour through Kilday's left-foot shot fired into the top left corner past Stenhousemuir keeper Greg Fleming.

He added his second 20 minutes later when he was again on hand to slot into the bottom right corner.

After the restart the game started to open up, with the visitors starting to create more chances, and eventually they pulled one back through Sean Dickson's left-foot shot in the 68th minute.

Morton put the result beyond doubt in the 87th minute when McCluskey finished from the centre of the penalty area just seven minutes after coming on as a substitute for brother Jamie.
