Dominique Malonga hit a hat-trick as Hibs made it five straight away wins with an amazing 6-3 Scottish Championship triumph over Dumbarton at The Bet Butler Stadium.

Scott Allan put the visitors ahead after 23 minutes when finishing off a fine move down the left, Malonga doubled the advantage soon after following a neat lay-off by Liam Craig and Paul Hanlon made it three on the half-hour mark when slotting home a low cross from close range.

However, substitute Chris Kane pulled one back for Dumbarton at the start of the second period and Andy Graham headed in a second on 61 minutes, before Malonga replied for Hibs with a fine strike into the top-left corner.

Garry Fleming gave the Sons fresh hope of a fightback before substitute Sam Stanton rounded off a fine, flowing move for the visitors and Malonga completed his hat-trick after 85 minutes.
