Mansfield Town vs Plymouth Argyle preview - Duo back in Stags' party

Loan players Keiron Freeman and Vadaine Oliver come back into the reckoning for Mansfield ahead of the visit of Plymouth.

Derby defender Freeman was ineligible for the FA Cup tie against Concord Rangers in midweek while Crewe forward Vadaine has been nursing a minor niggle recently.

Jamie McGuire would have also been available after suspension but he now faces at least a month out after suffering knee ligament damage in the league defeat at Shrewsbury.

Fellow midfielder Simon Heslop and defender Ritchie Sutton are making good progress in their recoveries but Saturday's game will come too soon for both men. John Dempster and Luke Jones also remain on the sidelines.

Plymouth have no fresh injury worries as they look to build on their 3-0 win over Portsmouth.

The Pilgrims have received a pre-match boost with the news that Andy Kellett's loan stay from Bolton has been extended for another month, meaning the left-wing back is able to keep his place in John Sheridan's side.

Despite rising to fifth in the table, Argyle's form on their travels has seen them take just eight points from the last 24 but they could name an unchanged line-up against the Stags.

Reuben Reid and Lewis Alessandra will start up front once more as they look to continue their fine form.
