Portsmouth vs Morecambe preview - Loan pair set for Pompey bows

New Portsmouth loan signings Marcus Bean and Matt Fish are set for debuts against Morecambe.

Boss Andy Awford swooped for the pair following Pompey's humiliating FA Cup exit at Aldershot in midweek, a display he branded "embarrassing" and "rubbish".

Defenders Danny East (groin) and Adam Webster, midfielders Wes Fogden and James Dunne and striker Tom Craddock (all knee) remain sidelined.

Johnny Ertl, Andy Barcham, Patrick Agyemang and Miles Storey are among those pushing for recalls with Awford ready to swing the axe following their cup humbling.

Goalkeeper Scott Davies looks set to play the final game of his loan spell at Morecambe.

The on-loan Fleetwood stopper is due to rejoin his parent club after this weekend's fixture, with fellow loanee Joe Lumley in line for more games and Andreas Arestidou (ankle) nearing a return too.

Midfielder Jamie Devitt, who it was thought may not return until Christmas with his hamstring problem, could be back in a few weeks.

Goalkeeper Barry Roche has a season-ending hip injury while Tom Barkhuizen has returned to Blackpool after his loan spell.
