Blackpool vs Bolton Wanderers preview - Eagles could make Seasiders bow

New Blackpool signing Chris Eagles might make his debut against former club Bolton at Bloomfield Road.

The winger has been out of the sport since leaving Wanderers over the summer but this week agreed a two-month deal with the Seasiders.

Boss Lee Clark, still searching for his first win at the club bottom of the Sky Bet Championship, remains without skipper Tony McMahon as is suspended for another two games.

Costa Rica international Jose Cubero, central defender Gary MacKenzie and the Oriol brothers - Joan and Edu - remain injured.

Bolton boss Neil Lennon has a decision to make in goal after Adam Bogdan joined up with Hungary in midweek following his finger injury.

The 27-year-old was an unused substitute and has not played since August, and, given the form of Andy Lonergan in his absence, Lennon looks unlikely to change his stopper.

Defender David Wheater (back) will come into contention having played 90 minutes for the development squad last week, midfielder Darren Pratley is back from suspension while young forward Max Clayton will hope to keep his spot in the starting XI after scoring against Wigan two weeks ago.

Wanderers will run the rule over their returning internationals, including South Korea's Lee Chung-yong, Sierra Leone's Medo Kamara and the United States' Tim Ream, but Marc Tierney (foot) remains sidelined.
