Weston-Super-Mare vs Doncaster preview - Kane unable to go for Weston
Posted Monday, November 17, 2014 by PA
Weston-Super-Mare will be without midfielder Kane Ingram for their rearranged first-round FA Cup tie against Doncaster.
Ingram returned to the club from Bristol Manor Farm last week after leaving Weston in May and stepped off the substitutes' bench in the weekend defeat at Havant & Waterlooville, but will not feature against Rovers as he is cup-tied.
Defender Ollie Barnes, who also returned to the club last week, is available to boss Mickey Bell and Jacob Cane is expected to return to contention after sitting out a suspension on Saturday, but fellow midfielder Gus Mafuta remains doubtful.
The first-round clash was postponed 20 minutes before kick-off nine days ago due to a waterlogged pitch at Woodspring Stadium.
Doncaster will have Andy Butler and Luke McCullough back available for the trip.
Loan signing Butler was ineligible for Saturday's 1-0 League One defeat against parent club Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, McCullough was not risked in that South Yorkshire derby after being away with Northern Ireland on international duty in Romania the night before.
However, Dean Furman will not be back from representing South Africa until Friday, while Rob Jones and Cedric Evina are sidelined through injury.
