Stirling Albion 1 : 1 Stranraer - Reidford stars as Stranraer held

Stranraer missed the chance to go second in Scottish League One after being held 1-1 at Stirling.

Stirling, who remain rooted to the bottom of the table, took the lead for just the third time this season when Phil Johnston's shot deflected over the keeper after 23 minutes.

The lead was short-lived, though, as former Bino Steven Bell was picked out by a Chris Aitken free-kick before finishing from close-range just 12 minutes later.

Callum Reidford was busy in the second half to keep out efforts from Bell and Aitken in quick succession.

The keeper was again forced into action to deny Craig Malcolm and Frank McKeown as the visitors pushed for the winner but were ultimately denied.
