Hibernian FC 0 : 0 Queen of South - Hibs held at home

Hibs were unable to force a win despite dominating a 0-0 draw against Queen of the South.

The home team had the better of the play throughout, with Jason Cummings and Scott Allan going close early on.

Allan had a free-kick well saved by Alex Clark but it was defender Paul Hanlon who had the best opportunity of the first period.

Matt Kerr had to be alert to clear Hanlon's header off the line following another Allan set-piece and ensure his side went into the break all-square.

Hibs continued to press in the second half but despite the dominance they could not break the deadlock.

Cummings shot wide from distance before a smart through ball found Paul Heffernan who could not take the ball in cleanly.

The draw sees Hibs extend their unbeaten run but they missed out on the chance to go above their opponents.
