Yeovil vs Fleetwood preview - Kieffer out once Moore

Posted Friday, November 14, 2014 by PA

Yeovil will be without Kieffer Moore when they host Fleetwood at Huish Park.

The targetman has been suffering with a hamstring injury this season and has been forced to limp off on two occasions and boss Gary Johnson does not want to rush him back into action and will give him a little longer to recover from the problem.

The Glovers, who sit in the relegation zone, could hand Jordy Hiwula-Mayifuila a start after he scored the only goal in last weekend's 1-0 FA Cup win over Crawley.

Despite that victory Yeovil, who will be without Nathan Ralph again, have won just once on home soil this season in the league.

Both Jamie Proctor and Conor McLaughlin will miss out for Fleetwood.

Striker Proctor earned the first red card of his career in the FA Cup loss to Cambridge and will now begin a three-match suspension, meaning he will not play again until December.

Right-back McLaughlin is away on international duty with Northern Ireland so Cod Army manager Graham Alexander will once again have to shuffle his defence around.

On-loan Blackburn midfielder Josh Morris will be available for selection, but strike duo David Ball and Jamille Matt (both leg) are long-term injury absentees.
