Coventry vs Worcester City preview - Swanson set for Coventry comeback

Posted Saturday, November 08, 2014 by PA

Danny Swanson could make his Coventry return in their FA Cup first round clash with Worcester.

The midfielder has been sidelined for a month with a knee injury but returned to training this week.

Reda Johnson is also fit after recovering fully from his hip injury for his last game before joining up with Benin on international duty.

The Sky Blues have also been given permission by Yeovil to play loanee Aaron Martin.

Worcester manager Carl Heeley is facing a selection dilemma for the trip to Warwickshire.

The Conference North side are targeting a major cup upset and Heeley admits all of his players are desperate for a slice of the action.

Striker Mike Symons is back from injury after coming off the bench against Leamington last weekend but goalkeeper Jose Veiga (knee) is definitely out.

The trio of Wayne Thomas, Sean Geddes and Nick Wright were all rested against the Brakes and are pushing for recalls.
