Portsmouth vs Aldershot Town preview - Chorley in contention

Portsmouth skipper Ben Chorley could return to the squad for the FA Cup showdown with Aldershot.

Centre-half Chorley missed last weekend's 3-0 win over Carlisle due to illness and was replaced in the team by Alex Wynter, with Joe Devera moving into the middle.

Defenders Danny East (groin) and Adam Webster (knee) remain sidelined along with midfielder Wes Fogden and striker Tom Craddock (both knee).

Andy Barcham and Patrick Agyemang could be recalled if boss Andy Awford wants to make changes for the derby clash.

Aldershot boss Andy Scott will be missing a number of players for the trip.

Damon Lathrope (groin), Mark Phillips (broken toe), Sam Hatton (knee) and Anthony Tonkin (calf) are all sidelined until mid-November.

Captain Glenn Wilson (knock) remains a doubt while on-loan midfielder Manny Oyeleke (calf) is also a fitness concern.

Forward Andre McCollin is pushing for a recall after coming on as a late substitute against Gateshead at the weekend along with winger Joseph N'Guessan.
