Greenock Morton 2 : 0 Forfar Athletic - Forfar fall to Morton

Morton battled to a 2-0 win over leaders Forfar, who finished the game with 10 men.

Midfielder Jon Scullion put the hosts in front on 15 minutes when his powerful 20-yard drive found the bottom corner.

Scullion then stung the hands of goalkeeper Robert Douglas with another long-range effort 10 minutes later.

Forfar threatened an equaliser just after half-time when midfielder Gavin Malin rippled the side netting.

However it was Morton who extended their lead on 62 minutes after Declan McManus' cross found Andrew Barrowman unmarked in the area.

Defender Jim Paterson was then given a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Jordan Allen two minutes from time.
