Airdrie United 2 : 0 Stenhousemuir - Parker on the mark as Airdrie win

Keigan Parker netted his second goal of the season as Airdrie recorded a 2-0 victory over Stenhousemuir.

The hosts broke the deadlock in the eighth minute when Scott Fraser rifled past Stenhousemuir goalkeeper Greg Fleming from the middle of the area.

The Warriors improved after falling behind but could not find a way past the Diamonds' resolute defence.

Airdrie doubled their lead in the 32nd minute when Parker's right-footed effort sailed into the back of Fleming's net.

The hosts continued to dominate in the second period but could not convert their chances and had to settle for a 2-0 win, their first victory in their last three matches in all competitions.
