Toulouse vs Metz preview - Toulouse look to turn a corner

Toulouse will look to end a miserable run of four straight defeats in all competitions when they take Metz on Saturday.
Alain Casanova's side have not won in Ligue 1 since a 1-0 win at St Etienne on October 5, and lost at home to Bordeaux in the Coupe de la Ligue just five days before being beaten by the same side in the league last week.
Midfielder Etienne Didot made a welcome return from injury as a substitute in the 2-1 defeat at the Stade Chaban-Delmas and admits his team-mates have been struggling in all areas of the pitch.
"Lately we lack a little bit of everything," Didot told the club's website. "It's something we are aware of. It is not only the defenders who are concerned, everyone should question (their performance).
"The facts are clear and conclusive and the solution is just as easy to find. In these cases there is not much to say, you just produce a big game on Saturday. We certainly cannot give up or fear a new mis-step.
"There is a huge desire to win. We really want to respond, to show what we are capable of. There is no panic. It is a difficult time but we are lucky to be in a healthy club. It's nice to be able to rely on a staff or leaders who continue to trust us and support us."
Metz have so far coped well on their return to the top flight, beating fellow promoted side Caen 3-2 last time out to sit eighth in the table with 18 points from 12 games.
Modibo Maiga's first two goals for the club were cancelled out before Florent Malouda scored the winner from the penalty spot after Maiga - who had earned the spot-kick - passed up the chance to score his hat-trick.
"I was appointed to shoot, but Florent Malouda had given me a gift in providing me a good decisive pass, so I thought he deserved to have the opportunity to score his first goal also," Maiga told the club's website. "It is the collective that is paramount. I hope to still have other opportunities to achieve a hat-trick this season."
