Eastleigh vs Lincoln City preview - Beckwith banned for Imps clash

Eastleigh will be without experienced defender Dean Beckwith for Saturday's FA Cup first-round clash with Lincoln due to suspension.

The 31-year-old was sent off in last week's 3-2 Vanarama Conference defeat of Chester following an altercation with Matty Hughes and is banned for three matches.

Chris Todd could come in for his first start since early October after being brought on just after half-time to fill the void left by Beckwith's dismissal.

Yemi Odubade and Ben Wright may also feature again after returning from lay-offs to get 20 minutes of action at the weekend.

Chris Moyses will again be in charge of Lincoln after manager Gary Simpson was relieved of his duties and put on gardening leave earlier this week.

Moyses made two changes for Tuesday's 2-1 Conference loss to Altrincham, with Alan Power replacing the injured Jon Nolan and Jordan Burrow coming in for Marcus Marshall.

Ben Tomlinson and Conner Robinson could now push for starts after looking lively as substitutes in that match.

Defender Thierry Audel limped off with 13 minutes to go following a knock to the knee and faces a fitness battle to be ready for the weekend.
