Dagenham and Redbridge vs Southport FC preview - Abu ready to Ogogo for Daggers

Dagenham will have skipper Abu Ogogo available again in the FA Cup against Southend.

The Daggers' captain has missed a three-game winless streak after being sent off in the defeat to Newport.

Striker Rhys Murphy (hip) played his first 15 minutes of the season against Shrewsbury last time out and will hope for a bigger role in the cup.

Boss Wayne Burnett may choose to shuffle his pack too, with the likes of Ashley Chambers and Ashley Hemmings hoping to earn starts.

Richard Brodie is back from suspension to spearhead Southport's attack.

The forward, who has scored five times in 14 games, served a one-game ban last time out against Dover after accruing five yellow cards.

Midfielder Luke George, who had dental treatment on a mouth injury, should feature but Dominic Collins is a doubt because of a back problem.

However, defender Clayton McDonald sits out the second game of his three-match suspension while midfielder Micah Evans (hamstring) is not ready to return just yet.
