Weston Super Mare vs Doncaster Rovers preview - No worries for Bell
Posted Friday, November 07, 2014 by PA
Weston-super-Mare boss Mickey Bell has a near full-strength squad available for the FA Cup tie with Doncaster.
Recent signings Jamie Edge and Liam Monelle are pushing for starts after they were handed debuts off the bench in last week's 2-0 defeat to Concord Rangers.
Midfielder Jacob Cane will miss the game through suspension while Jamie Lucas has returned to parent club Bristol Rovers following a loan spell.
Sam Teale and Liam Dempsey are expected to return to the squad after being unavailable through holiday and a knee injury respectively.
Doncaster will have Enda Stevens available after re-signing the Aston Villa full-back on loan.
The 24-year-old Irishman made 14 appearances for Rovers last season and re-joins after recently completing a short spell with Northampton.
Manager Paul Dickov acted swiftly to bring in cover for Cedric Evina, who is out for a month with a knee injury after being stretchered off in last week's 2-1 loss at Bradford.
Fellow loan signings Sam Johnstone and Andy Butler have also been allowed to play in this weekend's tie.
