Barnet vs Wycombe Wanderers preview - MacDonald ready to go for Bees

Barnet skipper Charlie MacDonald is pushing for his first start since September in the home FA Cup clash with Wycombe.

Striker MacDonald stepped off the bench in last week's win at Welling following his recovery from knee ligament damage and could start for the Bees.

Defender Sam Muggleton remains sidelined due to the shin injury that has kept him out since the end of September and winger Keanu Marsh-Brown is not expected to be included as he has recently been training with Peterborough.

Boss Martin Allen must decide whether to recall winger Luke Gambin, but on-loan Oxford defender David Hunt is not expected to feature.

League Two leaders Wycombe could name an unchanged line-up when they make the trip.

Boss Gareth Ainsworth looks unlikely to shuffle his pack but he could hand a first start to Hogan Ephraim who made an instant impact on his Chairboys debut last week having replaced Steven Craig from the bench against Oxford.

And if the former QPR man is given the nod Craig looks most likely to step out as the in-form Blues look to embark on a cup run.

Paris Cowan-Hall (ankle) missed the Oxford match but could return to action but Gary Doherty (knee) misses out once more.
