Chesterfield 0 : 0 Yeovil Town - Keepers shine in bore draw

Chesterfield and Yeovil played out a dull goalless draw at the Proact Stadium in a game of few chances.

The visitors wasted an early chance through Keiffer Moore and Chesterfield's top scorer Eoin Doyle shot straight at visiting goalkeeper Jed Steer early in the second half.

Yeovil had a great opening in the ninth minute when a free-kick was flicked on to Moore at the back post but his header hit the legs of home goalkeeper Tommy Lee.

Chesterfield thought they should have been awarded a penalty for handball against Jordan Clarke in the 27th minute but there were few other incidents in a disappointing first half.

A mistake by Liam Davis almost gifted the home side a goal in the 50th minute, but Doyle's shot was parried by Steer and there were no more chances until stoppage time when the Yeovil keeper did well at his near post to block a deflected corner.
