Oxford vs Wycombe preview - Oxford to rotate squad

Oxford could shuffle their pack as they look to get back to winning ways against Wycombe.

The U's headed to Carlisle last weekend after back-to-back victories but, despite taking the lead, made the long journey home without a point and Michael Appleton could ring the changes for the Kassam clash.

One player who will not be involved is Tom Newey, who signed a loan deal with Sky Bet League Two rivals Northampton on Thursday, while the likes of Michael Raynes, Callum O'Dowda, Jon Meades and Jamie Roberts will all hope to come into their manager's thoughts.

Tareiq Holmes-Dennis will start once more at left-back having impressed since arriving on loan from Charlton.

Wycombe have been handed an injury boost with the news that Paris Cowan-Hall should be available.

The winger was withdrawn three minutes before the break in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Dagenham as a precaution but he should be given the green light to tackle the U's.

That point against Dagenham came on the back of a 2-1 loss at Exeter and Gareth Ainsworth may be tempted to shuffle his pack as they look to get back to winning ways.

And he is likely to involve new signing Hogan Ephraim. The former QPR attacker arrived until the end of the season and could partner Paul Hayes, but Gary Doherty (knee) misses out once more.
