Cheltenham vs York preview - Marquis to return for Robins

Cheltenham will be boosted by the return of John Marquis when they host York.

The Millwall loanee picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in their 2-1 win at Cambridge last Tuesday and was forced to sit out the 3-0 loss at Plymouth but he will return to Mark Yates' squad.

Joe Hanks is set to start having been rested against the Pilgrims after the 19-year-old put in a big shift just four days previously, but fellow midfielder Asa Hall is still sidelined with a calf injury he sustained on the opening day.

Having flown into the top three at the start of the campaign, the Robins have now slipped to 11th place in Sky Bet League Two.

York boss Russ Wilcox has brought in veteran striker Deon Burton on loan from former club Scunthorpe ahead of the trip.

The 38-year-old, who represented Jamaica at the 1998 World Cup, scored six times as the Iron gained promotion last term and has recently returned to action after suffering a medial ligament injury earlier on this season.

With Wes Fletcher and Jake Hyde still nursing knocks, Burton will go straight into contention.

Wilcox can welcome back goalkeeper Michael Ingham, who missed last week's draw against Mansfield with a thigh strain, although Alex Cisak did well in that game after arriving from Burnley on loan.
