Cardiff City vs Leeds United preview - Turner set for Bluebirds inclusion

Ben Turner looks set to hand Cardiff a huge boost by making the matchday squad for the first time this season when they host Leeds.

The former Coventry centre-back has been sidelined since July having sustained an ankle injury, which required surgery, in a pre-season friendly at Yeovil and having returned to full fitness in a number of development games Turner is in the mix to feature.

Sean Morrison is likely to be given the nod to partner Bruno Manga but Turner remains an option should Russell Slade decide to freshen things up after their loss at Millwall.

The likes of Ravel Morrison, Nicky Maynard and Mats Daehli will also hope to start.

Striker Souleymane Doukara is available to Leeds.

Doukara missed the defeat to Wolves through suspension after collecting five bookings.

He is likely to replace Steve Morison in attack, as Neil Redfearn prepares to select what is likely to be his first team as permanent manager.

Redfearn must also decide whether to retain Brazilian playmaker Adryan at the top of a midfield diamond or recall Rodolph Austin.
