Leyton Orient vs Coventry preview - O's wait on Clarke

Posted Friday, October 31, 2014 by PA

Leyton Orient will check on captain Nathan Clarke ahead of the clash with Coventry after the centre-half missed Tuesday night's home defeat by Preston having suffered concussion in training.

New boss Mauro Milanese still has a host of absentees to contend with as defender Shane Lowry and striker Darius Henderson are suspended and the injury list is showing no signs of clearing up.

Romain Vincelot, Gary Sawyer (both knee), Kevin Lisbie (shoulder), David Mooney (ankle), Adam Legzdins (finger) and Lloyd James (broken leg) all remain on the sidelines.

The midweek setback means Orient are still yet to win a home game this season and lie just a point above the relegation zone.

Gary Madine is set to start his second spell at Coventry after signing on loan for a month from Sheffield Wednesday.

The striker was first at the Sky Blues for three months during the 2009/10 season and made nine appearances without scoring.

Defender Aaron Martin could also make his bow after signing on loan until January from Yeovil with Jordan Clarke going in the opposite direction.

Danny Pugh (ankle) is still sidelined but Frank Nouble is fit again after he made a scoring comeback in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Peterborough.
