Southend United 1 : 1 Bury - Jones rescues Shrimpers

Substitute Craig Jones secured a 1-1 draw for Bury at out-of-form Southend.
The Shrimpers, who have now not won in five games, went in front through Barry Corr in the first half.
But Jones' header after the break ensured the match ended all square at Roots Hall.
Bury wasted a great chance to open the scoring when Southend goalkeeper Daniel Bentley stopped striker Courtney Duffus when he was clean through on goal.
The Shrimpers soon made him pay for the miss by going in front in the 37th minute when Corr collected a deep left wing free-kick from Michael Timlin before sending a well struck, 10-yard volley into the top corner.
However, Bury hit back after the break and equalised in the 71st minute when Jones headed an inswinging left wing cross from Danny Mayor in to the back of the net from close range.
Southend rallied after being pegged back and had strong shouts for a penalty turned down when Bury defender Tom Kennedy seemed to bring down David Worrall.
