Posted Sunday, October 26, 2014 by PA
A stunning first half from Falkirk put Cowdenbeath to the sword as they romped to a 6-0 win.
The Bairns took the lead in just the fourth minute when David Smith sent in a low ball from the right which was flicked in by Rory Loy for his third goal of the season.
Smith doubled the lead 15 minutes later when his free-kick from the left drifted beyond Robbie Thomson in the Cowdenbeath goal.
Loy turned provider after the half hour as Alex Cooper slotted in via the left-hand post before Peter Grant followed up Smith's volley to make it four before half-time.
David McCracken headed home a Smith corner after the break for the fifth before Will Vaulks finished the game with a stunning long-range strike to send Cowdenbeath to the bottom of the league.
