Zizou, the man from La Mancha

Throughout the entire week, the town, in the province of Ciudad Real had looked forward excitedly to the visit from 'Los Blancos'. More than a thousand people gathered at the gates of the stadium to welcome their bus. In this town, Zizou and his players' visit is a big deal. The stadium registered a sell-out and fans paid tribute to their idol before kick-off.
The Frenchman, who was coaching his last game before finding out his punishment for coaching without the necessary badges, sat on a bench, just metres from the stands. The home side turned out in their all blue kit to allow Real Madrid to play in white for that all-important historic photo.
