Norwich vs Leeds preview - Hoolahan out for Canaries

Norwich will be without playmaker Wes Hoolahan for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Leeds at Carrow Road.

The Republic of Ireland international damaged an ankle ligament during Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

But following a scan, boss Neil Adams has confirmed the injury may not be as bad as first feared although it will a few days before determining the length of his absence.

Defender Jos Hooiveld and forward Kyle Lafferty trained on Monday after missing out at Fulham with knee injuries and are expected to be available.

Leeds head coach Darko Milanic will pick his starting line-up from an unchanged squad.

Milanic, bidding for his first win in five games since taking charge, could be tempted to hand a full debut to midfielder Adryan following the Brazilian's impressive cameo in last Friday's defeat at Rotherham.

Teenage midfielder Lewis Cook and left-back Stephen Warnock returned to the starting line-up at Rotherham, while the likes of Casper Sloth, Sam Byram, Billy Sharp and Steve Morison are pushing for recalls.

Another midfielder, Luke Murphy, will be hoping to be involved after being left out of the matchday squad last week.
