Morecambe vs York preview - Same again for Shrimps?

Jim Bentley will be tempted to name an unchanged starting XI for Morecambe's home clash against York.

The Shrimps beat Burton 2-0 away from home on Saturday, with midfielder Alex Kenyon overcoming a calf problem to score one of the two goals.

Full-back Laurence Wilson (knee) is not due to return to training until this week while midfielder Stewart Drummond has been nursing a groin problem.

Blackpool loanee Tom Barkhuizen is hoping for his first start after joining the club on Friday.

York skipper Russell Penn is expected to return to the starting line-up following suspension.

Penn missed manager Russ Wilcox's first game in charge on Saturday, which ended in a home defeat to Shrewsbury, following his dismissal in the recent loss at Newport.

But Wilcox will be without striker Ryan Jarvis, who will start a three-game ban following his straight red card at the weekend. Wes Fletcher could play some part as he looks to shake off a hamstring strain.

Forward Michael Coulson returned to the starting line-up at the weekend after a groin problem and should continue, while Luke Summerfield, Jake Hyde and Anthony Straker are among those pushing for recalls.
