Exeter vs Wycombe preview - No new worries for Grecians

Exeter have no fresh injury worries as they prepare to tackle League Two leaders Wycombe.

The Grecians have seen their squad stretched in recent weeks with a number of key players missing but Liam Sercombe made his comeback in the 1-1 draw at Southend on Saturday while Graham Cummins is now back at full fitness after a spell on the sidelines.

Paul Tisdale made a string of positional changes during the break at Roots Hall, as well as introducing winger David Wheeler, which helped inspire his side's much-improved second-half display.

Wheeler will hope to have done enough to earn a start while Scot Bennett could line-up in defence rather than attack as the Grecians look for a rare home victory.

Wycombe could name the same XI that extended their lead at the top of the table when they make the trip to Devon.

Their 2-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon gave them a two-point cushion on the chasing pack and they were boosted by Aaron Pierre's availability despite fears surrounding a head injury.

And with Daniel Rowe returning on loan from Rotherham before kick-off, manager Gareth Ainsworth has plenty of options as he looks to extend their unbeaten League Two run to 11 matches.

Gary Doherty is the only absentee for the in-form Chairboys.
